Job Title: HQ USAF/A3 - Irregular Warfare Advisor



Job Location: Arlington, VA



Security Clearance: TS







+ U.S. Air Force Headquarters / A3O is responsible for employment of Air Advisor capabilities, managing Joint level Irregular Warfare tasks, and supporting the Expeditionary Readiness Program (ERP) Executive Authority requires additional support



+ Provide expertise in the areas of irregular warfare and Joint Staff Action Process (JSAP), including broad-canvas expertise in joint integration, capacity and capabilities assessment, and planning, strategy, policy, and concepts development for aviation irregular warfare.



+ Specific areas of support include: senior task force and summit formation and management; capabilities-based assessments; Rapid Validation and Resourcing of Joint Urgent Operational Needs (JUONS) in the Year of Execution.









+ Graduate of DoD Intermediate Developmental Education (IDE)



+ Prior field grade USAF or GS equivalent



+ At least 2 years HQ USAF Staff or 3 years MAJCOM staff experience



+ Experience in working with geographical COCOM



+ Experience in 3 or more of the following areas: information and cyber operations; intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR); global mobility; agile combat support; command and control; air interdiction; light attack aircraft; air-ground operations.
