Shift: Monday through Friday. Hours of operation are 8:00 AM until 7:00 PM. Usual shift will be 8 hours per day with overtime as needed by the unit. Training from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age with at least a high school diploma or GED.

Purpose:
Responsible for submitting detailed telephonic applications for health insurance for a specialized population in an inbound and outbound call center.

Using a computerized system, responds to customer inquiries in a call center environment.

Scope:
General:
Entry Level with little or no prior call center experience
Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks
Work is routine and requires minimal problem resolution
Completes work with limited autonomy
Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures

Primary Responsibilities:
Responds to telephone inquiries and complaints using standard scripts and procedures
Gathers information, researches/resolves inquiries and logs customer calls
Communicates appropriate options for resolution in a timely manner
Informs customers about services available and assesses customer needs
Prepares standard reports to track workload, response time and quality of input
